Examination system



Assessment & Evaluation of Trainees



PVTC has its own Examination & Certification Department which carries out the final evaluation and award certificates to successful trainees. Final evaluation is based on sessional performance, attendance percentage, performance during on the job training and final examination.



Sessional Performance:
Is assessed by the VTI through monthly tests and periodic assignments, related to training.



Attendance Percentage:
Minimum requirement of attendance for eligibility to sit in final examination is 90%.


On Job Training / OJT:
On Job Training is an integral component and without it, training course is not complete and certificates are not issued.
Final Examination:
Final examinations are scheduled and organized by the Examination & Certification Department. Independent external examiners are deputed for this purpose, who evaluate the level of knowledge and skills of the trainees.
