VITs Role

The concept
The VTI has following features:
1.Managed by Institute management committee at district level by locals

2.Mustehqeen trainees receive a stipend of Rs.500 per month during training and Rs.5000/- at the completion for purchase of essential tools, equipment etc. for self employment.

3.Each trainee receives On Job Training (OJT) for two months after completion of the institute training.

4.Placement officers assist in identification of trades and placement of pass-outs for OJT & employment.
